Gmunden
Tram
2.3 mile tram with 8 stations, one of the world's smallest tram lines. the
tram connects the city with its railway station which is high above the "city
centre".
Gmunden also has several light rail interurbans: the Transeebahn, the
Vorchdorferbahn, and the Haager Lies (which connects Lambach and Haag). The
operating authority, Stern & Hafferl Verkehrsgesellschaft, also runs the
LILO (Linz Lokalbahn), a regiosprinter type service that connects
Linz with Peuerbach, and the Vöcklamarkt Lokalbahn.
The Salzburg Lokalbahn was also once owned by the Stern & Hafferl.
