Belarus was part of the former USSR. It's capital city, Minsk, is a popular preamble to many limericks, as in "There once was a lady from Minsk..." Belarus is also home to Chernobyl, where there is no tram. There is, however, a Chernobyl memorial tram in Kiev in the Ukraine.
