Teresina surface metro To say Teresina has a metro is like saying  Hooterville has a light rail system. In one youtube video, we see local peasants clear the tracks of their pigs and goats so the metro can get by. Nevertheless, the Brazilian government is investing in new rolling stock (Citadis trams) and is rebuilding the existing infrastructure to upgrade this 13.5 km 8 station railroad that runs mostly in a trench but on streets and alleys as well.
