Heritage Tramway

The City of Nelson in British Columbia operates a 6 station, 2 km electric tramway which began running on Nelson's streets in 1924. It died in 1949 but was resurrected in 1990, having acted in the interim as dog kennel,  a souvenier shop and a cabin. Plans for an extension by the city are under consideration.
