A 10 km tramway is under construction with an estimated opening date of June 2012. According to the town council, "it's key lime color will add a zest of freshness and vitality to the town."  Leave it to our friends the friendly French to associate food and freshness with a tram vehicle. We'll keep you abreast of events as they metastasize.

A lemony Brest tram uses new ethanol propulsion technology to navigate over a suspension bridge. "Soon, all our trams will use this secret liquid propulsion technique to navigate the city" said one Brest official who asked to remain anonymous.
