The LeMans Tramway
opened in November 2007. It consists
of one main line and a branch line, totaling 15.4 km (or 18 km if you
were to include trackage to the depot) and 29 stations. The system
runs primarily on a grassy
right of way,
as do many of the newer European tramways.
