Lyon also has three light raiul lines. Line C is actually a rack railway and does
indeed
run underground. Line D is fully automated. Lines A and B run on rubber
tires. Line C, Croix-Rousse-Croix-Paquet,
claims to be the steepest metro in Europe at a grade of 17%. |
