streetcars or trams. The total length covered is 57 km and 82 stations,
of which over 20 km are in subway. All trams, light rail and
even S-Bahnen in the city

Dortmund Subway

Monorail
(H-Bahn)
Dortmund has three identical monorail lines: two totalling 3 km which
operates within the university, the second at the airport. You can
catch the University H-Bahn by taking the S-Bahn Line 1 and getting off
at the underground S1 station.

One
of the S-Bahn lines not operated by Deutsche Bahn but by Regiobahn is
the S28, a
small Diesel-S-Bahn between Kaarst and Mettmann via Neuss and
Düsseldorf. There are plans to extend it to Wuppertal.
