Lines 2 and 3
Budapest's 2 standard metro lines consist of:
Line 2 (Red Line), is a 10 km east west line which runs from Déli Pályaudvar (the railway station) in the east and Örs Vezér Tere, an urban area, in the west. Most of the images here were taken on line 2.
Line 3 (Blue Line) is an 18 km north south line, running from Köbánya-Kispest in the south (it's only above ground station, which you can reach via bus from the airport), to Újpest Központ in the north. It opened in 1976.
