Tehran
full metro

While 9 lines are eventually planned, Tehran's metro currently consists of 2
lines. Line 1, which is 2/3 underground, is 22 km long. Line 2 is completely
underground. It consists of 11 stations and is 11 km long. It was the first of
the two metro lines to open in 2000.
Line 5, which is not a metro, connects the outer terminus of line 2 thirty-one
and a half km with the city of Mershahr.
