airport subway under construction

Very little is available on this new subway which was due to begin accepting tenders in July 2001. According to this site, the 9 km 4 station line run by Ferrotramviaria is currently under construction and due for completion in 2006. Ferrotramvia also runs a 70 km interurban line on this same route. Logic would suggest a conversion to subway. This site mentions a new underground railway station at the airport, which is likely part of the subway which will run from the airport to St. Paul.
