LRT

A 7.7 km, 18 station LRT running from Gazzi to Annunziata via the Sicilian city's center opened on April 3, 2003. The first tramcar arrived in Messina in December 2001, and trials on the Railway Station to Bonino began in March using drivers from ATM of Turin.
