Kagoshima
tram

Kagoshima, at the southern end of "mainland" Japan,  lies in the shaddow of the Sakura-jima volcano. The city has a 2 line 13.1 km tram system which opened in 1912. The trams and buses are run by the Kagoshima City Transport Bureau. The Kagoshima tram is famous for it's "Beer Tram", which is run by a local Czek Brewery on weekend evenings from June through August. Trams are also available for rent.
