There are few countries on the planet today considered to be more democratic, more open, more concerned about the welfare of it's general population, than North Korea. Known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , it's leader, Kim Jong Il, is often quoted from his famous speech championing individual rights, "Sometimes the needs of the few, Jim, outweigh the needs of the many."
