"If you wonted to be a operator in the TTC you need to be very lucky first off.  There are about 5000 applications a year to get this job.There is only 600 positions with lots of 25yr men. You must have:

• perfect drivers license
• pass a three hour physical
• a clean police record
• good vision
• good hearing

That will get you to the training stage were the  program is 6 weeks and you must get 80% or better on 5 exams and 3 driving test. Plus you  must get 100% on the signals test. Once you pass this you go on the line and you are on probation for 10 months."
