Basel Vehkersbund Home Page

Basel first tramway opened in 1895. It currently runs 85.7 route km. Basel's trams are run by two different companies on the  same tracks: the
BVB, known as the "green trams", and the red and yellowBaselland BLT trams, which run from the city into the Canton known as Baselland.  Basel tram route 10 has one stop in Leymen, France.
