HsinChu
light rail subway planned, MRT under construction

The Light Rapid Network, a light rail line, is in the planning stages. It is expected to consist of two 26 km lines, and will connect HsinChu's downtown with Hsinchu Scientific Industrial Park, a sort of local Silicon Valley.|

HsinChu is constructing an elevated 11.28 km 5 station MRT line connecting two railway stations. It is scheduled to open in 2010.
