Line 1, the "Red Line", will consist of 28 km and 23 stations, 19.8 km of which will be underground. Line 2, the "Orange Line", will have 14 stations along a 14 km route. Two additional lines and several extensions to the first two lines are now in the planning stages. The system will be fully automated. Kaohsiung is also planning two light rail lines, totaling 17 km and 32 stations.  . |
