Kayseri, known for it's cheese and earthquakes, has a population of 650,000 and
is located in the province of Anatolia. The 2 line 13.5 km Eskisehir
doubled-tracked light rail
line
began
construction in 2002 and opened in 2004. Line
One, 9.8 km, runs from Anadolu
University to the Otogar. Line Two, 4.7 km, runs from Osman Gazi
University to Muttali. The two lines, DBMed in part by Bombardier,
interchange at Carsi in the city centre.
