Existing or Under Construction

Redlands (see San Bernardino)
Go ahead, make by day. With all of California's railfan goodies, the state of confusion will make any train enthusiast's railroad croassing rise.
If you now anyone who has been in a light rail accident, California has it's own rapid transit accident lawyers
Honorable mention goes out to Yosemite National Park, which at one time had plans - as did the Grand Canyon National Park - to install a light rail line to diminsh heavy automobile traffic in the park. The project never materielized, though the park does have it's own railroad. With Obama's stimulus plans being so transportation oriented, we are hoping it will allow construction
of a large metro network thoughout the park which will one day rival the New York City subway system. Such a network would not only create much needed jobs in the transportation and forestry industries, it would provide protection for endangered species and a much needed transportation network for the park's bears and other wildlife.
