Despite a visit to Boise by the RegioSprinter, this small city does not have light rail. However, a recent article in the Idaho Press reports that city planners have already purchased 18 miles of track for a future light rail or commuter line that will link Nampa, Meridian and Boise in a 44 mile loop.
