Missouri

Over the past several decades, Missouri metro areas have been plaugued with failed transit plans. From calls for light rail,
monorail and personal rapid transit in Branson to repeated defeats at the polls for Heartland light rail in Kansas City and now streetcar plans, there is still just one working metro in Missouri - St. Louis area's light rail.

Kansas City

The barbeque city's 2 mile lomg starter streetcar is opened in early 2016. Kansas City is also considering a 2 mile extension.

Plans
for commuter rail were also announced in 2016.
