The Issaquah Historical Society runs a .8 mile trolley line through downtown Issaquah, a suburb of Seattle. Another 1.2 km of tack is owned and up for refurbishment for an extension to a boat launch entrance to Lake Sammamish State Park.
The line opened in 2001 on an old freight right of way as an effort to demonstrate the viability of streetcars in the town. Rolling stock was borrowed from the Yakima Electric Railway Museum, but were returned about six months later. The museum acquired o a variety of old rolling stock which it was able to have refurbished. In October 2012, the Issaquah Trolley was up and running again.
