Los Teques
Full Metro

The Los Teques Metro is a 9.5 km subway running from Line 4 of the Caracas metro's Las Adjuntas termiinal to the town of Los Teques. Currently there are only two stations, but a 12 km 6 station extension to San Antonio is currently under construction.  It is scheduled to open in 2010, and although an extension of the current line, it is expected to be known as Line 2.

The metro is an engineering achievement as it climbs a valley along the San  Pedro River from 900 meters above sea level to the northern terminus 1300 above sea level. It opened in 2006.
